I figured out how to list all the old epiosdes in iTunes. In the meantime though, it reposted Episode 1 and it may download again as new. Sorry! Hey, I just realized that it's our 1 year anniversary in 3 days! WOW!!!

Two places still available for Benediktbeuern!!!!

Hey Uncensored Knitters!

I just received an email telling me that two people have to jump off the wagon for Benediktbeuern, and so there are now 2 places to fill if you want to jump in. Please tell me ASAP if you want to come and spend the weekend with us. The cost for the hostel is EUR 29.50 in a double room per person and including breakfast. I'm leaving this up until Thursday morning when I'll cancel the room.

Howdy Uncensored Knitters!

Sorry, but episode #07 hasn't been recorded yet. I think that we'll be doing that this coming Saturday....

NB: Also, some of you might notice that iTunes has stopped downloading since episode #04. So, I'm hoping that you're reading this here. Mea culpa, when I was updating the blog back in episode #04, I mucked up the dates and so it was set to September. So, iTunes won't be picking anything up until September.

To fix this, you have to unsubscribe from the feed and re-subscribe to it again . That would put the dates right again.

As for Benediktbeuern trip in September, I will figure out the travelling time for all of us who are travelling from Munich, so that we can go together on the train. I think that at the moment, all of those from Germany are going to gather in Munich and then we'll go together. But I'll send out an email concerning that again soon.

Lastly, you see the picture above...yeah, that's my hand-spun! I and Ms. B started spinning. I like it...Ms. B declared herself a non-spinner. ;-p

But we'll talk about that in the next episode. ;-)

Benediktbeuern Textile Market (22nd-23rd September 2007): Biggest textile market in Germany. Meet the Wollmeise in person! Fondle her gorgeous yarns before making the purchase. There will be a sock-workshop with Yarnissima, the designer of Digitessa! The Knitters Uncensored Team will be there and we all will be having a PJ-Knit-Party! All places are filled!

Recording today!!!!

I'm saying "today" because it's 1.10 a.m. in the morning and I need to get in bed...

...just want to give you the heads-up (okay, that kinda sound wrong...can someone tell me whether that's kinda shady, please?), that we're going to record the 4th episode today!!!

Episode #04 delayed, Benediktbeuern Update

Just want to tell you that episode #04 will be late, since Ms. B's folks are leaving today and thus she should be spending time with them. Recording will be done next week, possibly Sunday, and it's going to be pretty packed with content! ;-)

As for Benediktbeuern, this is the list at this point:

I have already reserved 5 double rooms. That's all they have for the time being. There might eventually be more available. There's also a possibility that you yourself or I could find you some other accomodation in Benediktbeuern, if there isn't any place left.

As you can see from the list, we have now six eight confirmed. That means, TWO places are readily available. We'll be going with the first-come-first-serve at the moment. So, please, confirm with us ASAP. If you really really really want to come but are too late for a space, then please contact us, and we'll see what we can do.

Because the cancellation could be done without any costs up to 8 weeks prior to the real date, I would like to just make sure. And so, please decide whether you want to come or cancel by 20th July2007!

Benediktbeuern! Getting serious!!!!

Okay, I have about 8-10 people who are interested in coming to BB with us. I've emailed and ask about availabilities for a place to stay at Zentrum für Umwelt und Kultur Benediktbeuern for 10 people. Just got an answer from them.

They have 5 doubles available for the 22nd-23rd September, which means we can have 10 people coming. It costs EUR 29.50 / person including breakfast. I need to get confirmation from people who are definitely coming and book the place ASAP, so please contact me either here by leaving a comment or email (in the sidebar) to confirm your place as soon as possible! (preferably at the latest by the end of this week!).

ETA: I haven't asked the ZUK about this, but there might be a possibility that we could all go into one big room. Now, I'm not sure how y'all might feel about this, but tell me what you would prefer!

ETA 2: Okay, I got them on the phone. No big sleeping room available. I will book all 5 double at the latest by tomorrow morning regardless of confirmations, since they told me that we can cancel the reservation without any costs up to 8 weeks prior to the real date. That means, the very latest you can cancel is towards the middle of August. So, please decide by then (the earlier, the better)!

Knitters Uncensored in Tracht!

Okay, basically Tracht means 'traditional German costume', thus it applies to both Dirndl and Lederhosen.

Next Episode is in editing!

Yes, episode #03 is now being edited by Ms. B. It should be up online in the next couple of days!

Loads and loads of fun recording this episode....especially with my getting progressively extremely drunk during recording while physically rolling off the floor laughing at things we were talking about. I can't believe some of the stuff I said on and off the microphone. :-p

So, watch for my slurring when the episode's up! *LOL*

EDIT: Ps. I've just heard from Ms. B and I need to put up a warning for this episode: There is hardly any knitting content in this episode. It turned out to be more about life in Germany in general. So, don't tell me that I haven't warned you! ;-)

WWKIP-Day: Location

I was at Odeonsplatz earlier today and they're having some kind of festival going on, which probably will continue into the weekend.

We'll still meet at 11.30 a.m. at Odeonsplatz, but instead of at the Feldherrnhalle, we'll meet in front of the Theatinerkirche (St. Kajetan)....it's the big ochre-yellow church right on that place, you can't miss it. Then we can decide on where to go.

See y'all tomorrow! (Even if it's going to be only me and Cashyie).
