The contest will be opened until 04th June 2007 and the winner will be announced in the next episode.

This week's music:

SQUEEEEE! I'm listening RIGHT NOW. So far, so great! I can't wait to be able to subscribe at iTunes. I can picture you all sitting at the table at Cafe Florian. I know it's not true, but I'm sticking to that image in my head.

I love your podcast! :) I can't wait to hear more!

Happy podcasting,
Manda

ps: I think Cashie's a librarian!

Hey!!!! Just listened to a tiny snippet of your podcast- I'm saving it for my commute- and one minute into it I'm already in love- seriously! Great theme song! Can't wait to listen to the rest!

Miss Cashmacrylic is not a librarian but an archivist (most libraries I know actually do have a few windows to the outside world)! And to earn some extra cash, she also works as an assistant in Munich's most grouchy body paint and tattoo shop (hence the chocolatey body paint, or did I mishear that one?).

Great job you did with the podcast, folks! I must admit that, being raised within a very catholic breadmaking tradition, I do prefer the hard, non-squishy but healthy and delicious breads to the squishy ones :-)

Awesome! I can't wait to listen to the first episode (hopefully tomorrow if work is slow enough).

And I think Cashie is not a librarian or an archivist but a Wool Raider! (Que theme song!) With her Fedora and her knitted whip, she raids yarn and craft stores the world over in search of the holy grail of yarn, otherwise known as the Golden Fleece.

Hey gang! GREAT job-I listened to it twice today-and I am really thinking about Cashie's job-I HAVE to have that yarn! Anyway-I look forward to many more podcasts-congratulations!

Love the show--- keep it up!!

Cashie's job is an archivist. Of course, she could be a fiber historian studying the history of fiber in Germany. But a yarn ho is another option.

Loved the podcast, and I think Cashmacrylic is an owl-wrangler. Tricky critters, those owls.

I loved your show! Great job, guys!

HHmmm... I'm going to take a stab at this mystery. Cashyie's day job must be either (1) an extra in a theater play or movie or (2) she's like Monica (Courtney Cox) on Friends who had a job as a cook in a 50s nostalgic diner, and had to dance when someone played certain songs on the jukebox.

Hi Knitters,
Love your Podcast--really original! I have so many Podcasts I want to listen to that I need to find time to knit!!
I'd love to win the yarn--I'm going to guess that Cashyie works in a museum, perhaps an art historian or something like that.

Best of luck!

Aaaayay! Loved it!

I give it 2 snaps in a circle with a cherry on top!

Ok, was that too much?

Thanks for bringing the party to the podcast, mixing knitting with humor and style :)

Can't wait for the next one!

Librarian? Or scientist?

hey, great debut episode! welcome to the land of podcasting... looking forward to more!

I think Cashyie is an evil scientist!

Question for each of you to answer on the next podcast: How long have you lived in Germany, and what led you there? (I know they don't just let anybody live abroad so give us your stories! :)

Tschüs!

You guys are so funny!! Can't wait for the next one, I heard about you from LimeNViolet's podcast tonight.

Hmm, I think cashie is a chemist who works with absolutely the nastiest smelling stuff and only wears the horn rims for looks!!

I love your podcast! I think it is just fabulous!

Hmm, Cashyie's job...I think she is a chemist. I think this because I am a chemist and there are very few windows where I work, and fume hoods. And every lab I have ever worked in has been like that.

Thanks for the contest! :)

I also loved the podcast. I first thought Cashie was a international spy hence the no online shopping in case someone discovered her identity and location. However, she gave a hint which is leading me to believe she is a research librarian. (International spy would be neat though)

I enjoyed your podcast. Very Lime and Violet. I personally might like a little more structure, but for a getting-to-know-you first episode, I'd give it a 10. I'm already subscribed and look forward to hearing more. I am a European listener (Amsterdam) and my guess on Cashyie's job is a Science Teacher in a bi-lingual stream, as I work as an English teacher here and we have teachers that teach sciences (biology mostly) in English. My other guess was a veterenarian specializing in reptiles, but that was my creative guess.

Listened to you yesterday and loved it. I can hardly wait to hear more. You all did a great job!

Thanks for keeping my company while I knit my log cabin blanket. I was cracking up because I'm doing the whole blanket in GARTER STITCH and I am so bored!

Um, I don't even know if I should be admitting this, but if you put a dog hair sweater on a cat, the other cats *will* beat it up. At least this was my experience...

Cashyie works in art restoration. That's my guess and I'm sticking to it.

I've been commuting this month by the train and thanks for such a great podcast! I'm catching up from the ep 1.. Regarding not shopping online, is it because she wants to shop local, or shop at small businesses? A lot of LYSes now offer online shopping and shipping... at least in the US...
